Areadbhar Notes
- According to the Irish Legend "The Fate of the Children of Tuireann," the sun god Lugh Lam Fada demanded the spear "Areadbhair" from the Persian king Pisear. Allegedly, the spear must be kept in water to keep it from igniting, similar to the lance of the Luin of Celtchar. "Areadbhair" also translates as "Slaughterer."
