Gold is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night. It is used as a component to craft various items. Materials can be found in various ways such as enemy or boss drops, scattered in various locations, inside treasure chests, sold by Merchants, and by dismantling items. Materials can be given to Johannes and are mainly used as ingredients for Crafting.

AnonymousEeeehhhh, just farm Ayamur with Glashtyn (that dark horse in Underground Caverns) and Alkahest with Amy (red slow-caster phantoms) in Hidden Desert.

If you want to spend your time, you can farm the 10 dark matters and buy the mercury then craft gold and it will then be sold at the store (for like 13,500 after discount). I personally find this easier than dismantling because that requires alkahest.

Before Augment Gold, farm the Ayamur for Gold (item). It costs 10 Alkahest. After you get Augment Gold shard (I'd recommend ranking it up ASAP), farm the Flame Armor from the Volcanic Morte. It costs 18 Alkahest, but you can afford it and you get Bixbite.

You can also dismantle the Flame Mail which you can grind form the Volcanic Mortes in the Inferno Cave.

You can also purchase the weapon 'Hofud' from Dominique for 19,200G. This demantles and gives 2 Gold.
