How to use Grand Izayoi
- This weapon feeds on blood, and it's attack power can be raised, but unlike Muramasa from Castlevania Symphony of the Night, it seems to have a limit.
- To increase its attack, Blood Steal must be used while Grand Izayoi is equipped. The more blood absorbed, the more it will level up. The best way to do this is at the Master Carpenter. Before entering the room use Invert and get inside. Stay right above his head and use Heretical Grinder or Chisel Barrage on him. After he dies use Blood Steal to pick the blood from the ground. Alternatively, using Standstill while blood particles are flying around on screen allows you pick them up multiple times, allowing the weapon to be maxxed out very quickly anywhere at all.
- Grand Izayoi's attack can be permanently raised to a maximum of 58.
Grand Izayoi Notes
- This weapon is a reference to Muramasa from Castlevania - Symphony of the Night.

Use the Standstill shard paired with Rhava Velar, freeze time next to a bat and go to town.

I just made this sword and it's already at 58 atk. Seems to me that the sword doesnt need to be equipped when you absorb the blood.

You can feed it much quicker if you use Heretical Grinder...

If you're stuck looking for the recipe book for this and the other ultimate weapons like I was, go to the room in the Hall of Termination before you fight Gebel, and use Inverse. You'll find it in a chest close to the ceiling.
To grind blood there is a much faster way than the carpenter. In the Den of the Behemoths is a room where giant canons are stacked 3 high in 2 towers next to each other. Go there, take a standard dagger and strip anything that gives bonus luck or increases your attack. Slide to the lower canon and begin stunlocking it. Once you have all 3 Canons dead reequip the Grand Izayoi and use Blood Steal. After 1 of the 2 towers you get nearly 200HP back from Blood Steal. And since you are stun-locking the canons they can't even defend themselfs
