Shortcut is a Skill Shard in Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night. By equipping different shards, players gain access to skills that can be used for different purposes like combat, movement, and progression of the game. Each Shard can be obtained by defeating the specific enemy that hold it's power. You can acquire multiple Shards of the same type to amplify their power. They can also be enhanced by using materials at Merchants.

You can config the Shortcut menu from the in-game menu and equip the configured builds buy pressing the shortcut button. L2 on PS4, LT on Xbox, and ZL on Nintendo Switch by default.

How to Get Shortcut

• Found enviromentally

  1: Underground Sorcery Lab to the right of Bathin.

  2: Underground waterway by the well entrance

  3: Entrance, near the top of that first tall room you enter.

  4: Cathedral, just to the right of the entrance one.

Shortcut Notes

• There are only 4 available Shortcut shards in any given playthrough, meaning to obtain all 8 you will have to find the rest in NG+. The first Shard unlocks 2 Shortcuts and each additional one unlocks one more, so you can access 5 shortcuts your first playthrough.
