Weapons for Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night is categorized as equipment that is used to inflict damage to enemies and bosses. Players will also be able to choose from 12 different weapon categories that each have their own unique set of moves. Each of the different weapon types also has different movement speeds that will allow players to match their preferred playstyle. Weapons can be found in treasure chests, dropped by some enemies and can be purchased from Merchants, and crafted.
- Melee Weapons: Weapons used in a very short normal range such as knives, swords, rapiers, whips, and shoes.
- Guns (Ranged Weapons): A gun can be shot by equipping consumable rounds. When you run out of the type of bullet that was equipped the bullet will be replaced with a much weaker, infinite bullet.

Greatswords
Long reach with high damage. They are generally slow.
Katanas
Fast attacking weapons that can be combined with martial arts

Long range attacks with medium attack speed and medium damage
