What is Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Wiki?
The Bloodstained Wiki is a complete guide to everything for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Knight. Bloodstained is an exploration-focused, side-scrolling platformer featuring RPG and crafting elements. Koji Igarashi, the namesake of "Igavania"-style games, is leading the project, with Michiru Yamane composing the music and Inti Creates leading the development.
The game was for Steam (PC/Mac/Linux), GOG.com (PC/Mac/Linux), XBOX One, Playstation 4, Wii U, and PS Vita.
You are Miriam, an orphan scarred by an alchemist curse which slowly crystallizes your skin. You must battle your way through a demon-filled castle summoned by Gebel, your old friend whose body has become more crystal than flesh.
What Features does Bloodstained have?
Bloodstained features 2 player local co-op as well as asynchronous online multiplayer features similar to Dark Souls. The game will feature rogue-like dungeons, for those who enjoy that sort of gameplay, as well as a boss rush mode. Players will be able to select from 3 distinct characters to play from with their own unique abilities and skills.

Great game but all the dlc was cancelled, the rogue-like feature was remove, basically all backer tiers above pushing the game out were removed
So, as a hardcore castlevania fan I had to buy this game of course. Here is my honest evaluation of the game: The graphics are nice, the gameplay is fine and the level/craft-system is a really good thing. BUT when it comes to character and boss design its completely flawed. Bosses are so boring that after a few hours I really dont even wanne see the true ending. And the characters (especially the main hero Miriam) are simply one dimensional, if not even zero-dimensional? If Miriam would not talk at all as in a Souls-Borne Game that would be way better. Is it a good game, yes. Does it have any appealing story that we are used from Konami/Igarashi? No it is way too generic. And I am being objective here. The hype of the media and youtubers is probably caused by Nostalgia and Igarashis name ... OR due to MARKETING. All NES, Gameboy and PS 1/2 castlevanis (even the one for N64) have a much more appealing story – I am sorry Igarashi.
This game is way to easy compared to Castlevania ... Go back and play Kirbys Dreamland or git gud.
Am i missing something? the main page features claim there is multiplayer and pretty sure there isn't.
Why dont you check the forums? We posted suggestions there to improve the game but you dont watch them.
