Familiar: Buer is a Familiar Shard in Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night. By equipping different shards, players gain acces to skills that can be used for different purposes like combat, movement, and progression of the game. Each Shard can be obtained by defeating the specific enemy that hold it's power. You can acquire multiple Shards of the same type to amplify their power. They can also be enhanced by using materials at Merchants.

• When hit by the player's attack, the Buer familiar will get knocked backwards, and will damage the first enemy it touches. The player can take advantage of this by positioning the Buer between herself and a boss and using a fast-swinging weapon to quickly do high damage.
• If the player has Double Jump, it's possible to hit the Buer with a dive kick to get a vertical boost and reach higher areas than would otherwise be possible yet.
