Passive Shards | Bloodstained Ritual of The Night Wiki

Passive Shards in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night are a type of shards that can boost the player offensive or defensive capabilities by having them equipped. They don't consume MP and only require to be equipped to offer the effect. There are many types of Passive Shards to adjust to the numerous playstyles available.

When a Passive Shard reaches lvl 9 it will transform into a Skill Shard, providing its effect even if not equipped

  Does anyone know how the grade of a passive shard is taken into account when it becomes a skill shard? Or can you still collect duplicates once you rank it upto level 9? Or are skill shards set to max grade?
